LingMo, a Chinese fountain pen manufacture, has updated its Lorelei line with black and white brushed aluminum models in the end of this past October.
According to some early adopters, these pens remain in the same dimension as a standard Lorelei pen, and feature an EF nib selection as default offering. The AL Lorelei weighs around 27g each, thanks largely to the CNC processing used. The manager of the company confirmed yesterday that aviation class aluminum alloy plate was used in these two models.
The retailing price is currently under $10 for domestic market in China, the oversea price from 3-rd party resellers is still unclear.
NOTES: Though LingMo Lorelei looks similar with Jinhao 992/Monteverde Monza or Wing Sung 9133/659, they are all different from each other in some ways. The Lorelei is The first to face the market in the summer of 2016. The official distributor of Lorelei line has been the taboo seller Shanghai Jingdian since then.
